Greenhill Salads Ltd

Greenhill Salads Ltd is a very busy mushroom wholesaler based in the New Covent Garden Market in London. We have produced a complex floor sales system which pushes orders and sales directly into Sage Line 50.

Greenhill was very early to computerise their operation and ran a UNIX/COBOL mini computer system for many years. Sales were still paper based and data processed in batches later in the day. The success of this business selling these perishable products whose supply is variable is based on agile pricing responding to market forces. They required a modern sales and stock control system. We produced such a system to handle sales, purchases and stock control and all accountancy information is posted into Sage Line 50. This was a challenging project particularly as the market opens at 9pm and closes at 11am. Work is still ongoing with this project which will shortly see an integrated web site for pre-ordering and wireless handheld devices for order picking.
